Occupy Wall Street/Occupy T.O.

I’ve spent the past 2 hours doing my research on the ‘Occupy’ movement as I had not yet been properly educated. I really didn’t know all the facts but I am very glad that I’ve taken the time this morning to get up to speed with this movement.

The one thing I’ve found amongst the many articles I’ve read so far is that the people who think this movement is a joke are completely ignorant and uneducated with how they describe the people part of the movement, the 99%.

hippies, bums, low-lives, morons, idiots, brainwashed, mis-informed, mis-guided, un-educated, bored, lazy, smelly, ugly, crazy, dirty, idealistic, immature, un-american, liberal/democratic, marxists, communists, cowards, snobs”.

If you haven’t gotten around to learning more about this movement, I suggest doing it soon, because this affects all of us and our futures.

Politicians and Corporations… Do the math…

Job Cuts, Public Sector Funding Cuts, School Closures all to “trim” the budget…
While taxes, hydro, interest, gas, tuition and cost of living ALL increase…
= A Financial Gap.

How can we pay more, when we are making less?

All we want is opportunity. Create more jobs, stop the cuts and invest! Focus on education not war so we can actually have a future… Think about the little guy, because we are 99% of the population!”
